Beach Weeks sees Donkeys Visit

This year saw over 20 residents join staff on their annual trip to Felixstowe as part of Stowlangtoft on Sea’s Beach Week. Residents enjoyed seaside fish and chips and ice cream as well as dipping their toes in the sea. There was plenty of fun to be had back at Stowlangotft Hall with a visit from the ice-cream van, beach games and a special visit from miniature donkeys. Donkeys Pippin and Pixie were also taken to visit residents in their bedrooms, if they were too poorly to see them outside. One family told the nurse that ‘mum had been hallucinating and had seen a donkey in her room’! They were delighted when they were told it was true! The week was a great success. Well done to all involved!
